Help Identifying a Firearm?

Hello, my father-in-law recently gave me an old(what seems like) muzzleloader. I just recently graduated from Gunsmithing School and he gave it to me as a graduation present saying that it will be a fine project. I have a major problem though, it old, really old. I have no clue the make, model, or where to begin with it. I would like to know what it is, if it has value, can I get parts for it, is it worth restoring or is it just a piece of junk that's good for display?

Its a heavily sporterized French Tabatiere converted to a breech loading 12 gauge with the rifling bored out. Value isn't much. Google Zulu shotgun and you'll find out more than you ever wanted to know.

Dunno what it is but with the drop on that stock I'll bet money it would be a vicious piece in th recoil department. Think large herd of very angry mules. Might look good hanging over the mantle though.

Dunno what it is
As the Hawg replied, it's a Zulu-Shotgun. I have only held one as I was asked to do a little research on it, for an estate and there is a ton of info on the internet. Kind of an interesting history. .. :)

Be Safe !!!
