Help identify this magazine

i recently purchased a beretta 92 mag and this magazine came with it but the seller and i have no idea what gun uses this magazine. i put a 92 magazine down next to it to compare its a little smaller than the 92 mag. i was looking on the internet but i couldnt be sure. it looks like a browning hi power mag but i couldnt find the exact same one on the internet..

Maybe an aftermarket Browning Hi Power mag. How many rounds does it hold?

it holds 13 rounds(9mm). i think you're right. possibly aftermarket mag for browning hi power.. thanks!

Is there a magazine release button detent/cutout on the front of the smaller magazine?

Pretty much 90% certain it's a HiPower magazine. A Ruger P series mag would have a square cutout on the front, a Beretta mag would have ambidextrous mag release button cut outs, so that leaves the HiPower although there are plenty of 9 mil pistols out there.
