Help Idnetify these grips??

I recently acquired this set of target stocks. Can find no company logos, or other identifying marks. The only lettering is inside the panel is etched made in Italy. any ideas as to who made these and when. I think they are quite old but not real sure.

They look like ones shown on cdnninvestments.com for S&W k/l frame competion grips.Unfortunaty they show as out of stock :( .You could check them out just in case.I know the grips I got from them were marked "made in italy". Good luck!

Is this the same profile?

Picture #3 almost looks lefthanded unless it was shot from the front of the grip.

those are the exact grips I have, and pic 3 was from the front of the grip. What grips do we have? Got mine from a buddy. He didnt want them so gave them to me. I was just really curious as to who made them. I plan to refinish them and slap em on my 8 3/8 inch K22 22 magnum.

They are for a K series S&W. The ones I posted the picture of are from CDNN. I have no idea who they bought them from but they work like a champ, closest thing to a Ransom Rest. Just don't plan on using a speed loader with them.;) :) :D I bought the set shown about two weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure - - -

- - - that they are Sile brand stocks.

They have that "look," and the "made in Italy" part is pretty much the giveaway. I believe jar is right on, about CDNN being current source for them.

I ran a search on "Sile grips" and got several hits, mostly from whole salers. The website,
www.cdnninvestments.com
has a lot of illustrations of revolver target stocks. Most of those stock numbers are something like SILLAM2 (Sile Laminated model 2??,) though they mostly don't list the manufacturer.

I first became aware of Sile stocks about 25 years back while I was looking for wooden handles for my old PPK. Pretty sure it is an outgrowth of some Italian industrial firm. I didn't research the company history, but shouldn't be hard to do.
