There is an additional variation, the "American Browning". It is a Model 11, with the magazine cut off added, made by Remington but marked Browning Arms on the barrel. These were made during WW2 while the FN plant was under the control of the Nazis.
Though an A5 manual is useful in working on a Model 11 and they look almost identical, the parts are not interchangable.
The one exception on interchangable parts is the recoil spring and friction rings.
