Help ID Remington 1863 New Model Army?

I recently had what I think is a Remington 1863 New Model Army come into my possession. Is anyone familiar with this model and be able possible confirm this. The gun shows heavy wear and the barrel legend is almost completely gone. I can make out the start of "Patent", the end of "New York", and what looks like the top of the word "Model". I think the grips and the front sight have been replaced. Serial number is 37022 and matches on the underside of the barrel and on the grip. If it is authentic I think it may have been made around August of 1863? Is any able to confirm any of this? Let me know what you think! Thanks

Just for interest -

Colt was selling their 1860 Model Army (44) to the government for $25/unit (individual pistol). When Remington began production of these, they undercut Colt by half, selling them to the government for $12.50/unit.
