HELP! Gunshow is this weekend!

My dilemma is this. I have a Bushmaster stripped lower (had it for about 2 monthes now).......I also have a Rem700 PSS(had since December), with no scope. The gunshow is this weekend and I can't decide whether to buy the parts kit for the AR or scope the 700 PSS! Opinions and views would be appreciated. And before we even go there, NO I can't do both this weekend! :D

IMO the answer is simple. Which one would cost less to get up an running? That way you got something you can be practiceing with while you get the other going.

Color me paranoid, but I think I'd go for the parts kit while it's legal and available and the price hasn't skyrocketed...

a cheap scope can get you shooting but a cheap upper could be a curse

I have a NEW Bushmaster 20" Complete upper with bolt,bolt carrier,charging handle and handguards for sale for $485 shipped!!
That price is good until 12:01 A.M. EST tomorrow(3-23-00). Reason: I need some funds for a project and time is a factor, after
tomorrow night, if unsold, this offer is no longer on the table.
 
Sorry I can't take you up on the upper offer, I need a complete kit minus stripped lower (all springs, trigger group etc) Model 1 Sales comes to my local gunshow sometimes. While not near the quality of a Bushmaster upper, they're CHEAP! Complete kit minus stripped lower for $400.
 
Cheap? What you save now, you may pay for later in other ways.

If I was in California and likely to stay there, I'd pass on the AR kit. You can pick up the parts kit after you leave because once you've assembled it, you're subject to registration of the same. Yuck. Better to spend your money on a quality scope (Leupold 3 x 9 may be had for about $240).

However, if you're in a gun friendly state, go ahead and buy the AR kit. Try to buy from a reputable dealer (ask at http://www.ar15.com who is good and who sells garbage).

the offer i posted was not my upper...
just a link to a good deal

i would buy the internals for the lower from DPMS for 59 bucks and not take the risk of buying knock off AR internals

then i would hover the AR board in the parts for sale area and snag an upper like the one i posted
