Help..... Fnp-9 or lcr

I think I've blown a gasket guys. I have a chance to pick up a new in box Ruger LCR tomorrow or purchase a LNIB FN Herstal FNP9. I know we are talking to totally different animals here but they are both outstanding pistols. As of now I carry my trusty P32 (ha ha ha) I hear ya already. I wont be carrying my next purchase much until winter comes and I can switch to a heavier wardrobe. So here it is, I need to be talked in one direction or the other and I need to be positive of my decision. So if you can tell me why one is the best and the other just won't cut it so I can make a fully educated decision. As always thanks for looking and have a great day.

p.s. I can get both of these fine firearms for $425 a pc.

I currently carry a P32 as my main CCW (I carry the P2000SK more during the cooler months) and just put a LCR on layaway myself. I'm not sure were it'll fit into the carry rotation though as I haven't seen one in person yet and had to buy one sight unseen. Both guns have a good reputation though so I'm sure you'd be happyt with either just depends on how you want to carry it and if you want a revolver or semi.

Polymer revolvers are an abomination. The guy who thought that one up and the buyers of such a crime against gunness will be relegated to the 11th level of Gun hell (you know, the one where you wake up for in a soft bed with a warm brunette haired body next to you with her back turned, who whispers..."you were great last night stud" as she turns and its NANCY PELOSI who reaches for you and lowers her face to you for a lingering kiss...and over and over again for all eternity)

Save your soul...FN...

I haven't had the chance to shoot the FNP yet and can't find one in a local shop. My major concern is the size of the grip. Does the grip thickness favor the glock pistols. I have smaller hands and I fear after I order this guy I won't be able to enjoy it.

THAT is possibly the most disturbing thing I have ever heard. Could be worse I guess, the person in bed with you could be Obama instead.

Well now I don't have to bed up with the enemy. I'm sending the MO tomorrow for the FN... I'll make sure to let you guys know how it runs.

Wow this peer pressure thing is great. With this power comes great responsibility or something to that effect. :D

Congrats on the new FN.

Seriously though the Ruger LCR, intrigues me. I still think it is an affront to all that is good and natural, much like a Porsche SUV or the Germans not wanting to go to war but it intrigues me none the less.

Well,my guess is I'll get the pistol run a couple boxes of ammo through it, clean the crap out of it and stick it in the safe. Give it a couple of months once the bug has bitten me again and I'll probablly have the LCR sittin rite beside it. (shhhhhh, don't tell alaska that).;)

I think the LCR actually grows on you. At first I thought it was fugly, but now I actually kind of want one.

After they make it a 6-shot in .327.

Though I bought my first gun, a SW M36 almost 25 years ago, I still consider myself very much a novice. I do however LOVE my new LCR!

500 rounds through and zero issues with my FNP-9, try it you'll like it!

Oh give me some credit. ;) I actually found one at a neighboring pawn shop and had some quality time with it.:o... That was the deal maker for me plus the one at the pawn shop was selling for $569. So the deal I was getting kinda helped too.
