Help finding a place to get license

Im going to be taken the concealed weapons course soon so i can get a license to carry a firearm.. but i'm having trouble as to were to find out which places around town offer this class? maybe the local state patrol office website?

Kind of hard to answer that question since we have no idea where you live. Different states have different procedures.

Thats easy. Type nra.org into your browser. Click on "NRA in your area" and search for a course.

If all else fails, your local gun shop should be able to point you in the right direction.

ok thanks guys, one other question is how long in advance do you have to sign up for a class? im not 21 yet but planning on taking this class shortly after i am.

Depends on where you need to go. If you can take the class at your local gun shop then they probably have it every week and only need a few days notice.

So not very long. But, again, I'm not sure what your state's laws require.
