Help finding a manual for old Marlin semi auto .22LR.

I picked up an old Marlin Model 70HC cheap. Nice little plinker. I like to have manuals for all my guns. Usually if not bought new I can find a .pdf somewhere. I've had no luck with this one. The rifle is made in the 80's.

Anyone know if Marlin has an archive site or something? I can't seem to find one. Any other ideas?

Have you tried calling Marlin? Most manufacturers will send you one for free. If not, try checking at brownells.com they at least have schematics for most models.

Note: Current mags also work in the 70HC, its original mag was a 20-round Ramline plastic mag.
Hence the HC for High Capacity.

Scorch,
I saw that one too. The manual you linked is close, but mine is much older. It's old enough that it doesn't have a bolt control lever. It doesn't lock back on the last round either. On the plus side it has an excellent wood stock and a heavier barrel than the more modern ones do.

I appreciate the effort though.

On some of the old ones, you pushed in on the bolt to lock it back...but there's no LSHO.

Last Shot Hold Open wasn't intergrated until around 1986 by Marlin for semi-autos.
I forget the exact year...
