thanks, thats quite a list.
as far as having kramer build me one, I may take that option if I cant find one thats mass produced, I'm not sure what they get for a custom job but seeing that their stock holsters are about $155 plus I'm not sure it would be in my price range for the moment, is a custom double that? or mabey more?
I would definetly like one though.

Kramer is proud of their stuff, no doubt, and getting it cut in horsehide adds a premium to the charge. But there are other options.

I have no idea regarding who might mass-produce leather paddle holsters for 4" S&W K frames, but just did a quick review of the usual suspects:
- Galco (They offer a paddle holster for a 2.5" S&W K frame, but not 4" bbl)
- Aker
- Bianchi
- DeSantis
- Milt Sparks
- Mitch Rosen
- El Paso Saddlery

None of them are offering standard production leather paddle holsters for 4" S&W K frames.

I'm gonna guess that you're either gonna find one in an unusual location, or you're not gonna end up with leather, or you're going to pay for a custom job.

You may be able to talk to someone about a one-off. Possibly this guy:

IIRC, there is a young woman on this forum who is just setting up in business manufacturing holsters in Texas - she may be another option.

Or, you can give Kramer a call and see what they can do for you.

At some point you hit the same equation that we all do.

You can have it -
Good
Fast
or
Cheap

Pick Two.

My K frame S&W rides in a Don Hume H721 thumbbreak. Fobus makes a
Kydex for K frames. Galco and Bianchi make good leather holsters for K frames.

Try...

...Simply Rugged up in Alaska. I just bought my first one from them for my SW 620 7 shot .357. I have purchased holsters from more companies than you can name. I will go to them first for any future holsters before looking anywhere else. Very high quality and quick service.
