Help-big mistake

Hi, new to the forum. I bought a brand new browning bar longtrak in 30.06. I took it home and didn't do anything to it for 2 weeks. Then, I looked at the manual and disassembled it. After I was done I cleaned the rifle really well put the trigger assembly back in and then realized that the pictures in the manual were so small that I could not reassemble the rifle. I have kind of figured it out but the parts could be in backwards. There are no pictures on the net and the one site I found discussing assembly/disassembly is out of commission. Does anyone have any ideas or better yet a schematic diagram? Or if you could be so kind as to describe in very (very very) detailed steps (ie how to assemble each piece in order-which way the block in front of the spring goes together which way each piece should face). At least once I do it once I will remember!!
Please e-mail me if possible.

Can you use a scanner to copy the pictures in the manual and then increase the size of them and print the bigger pictures??

If you have a digital camera you could snap a pic of the diagram and use the zoom feature while reviewing the pic. Mine does this and works great. I use this method for viewing schematics at work sometimes.

Your not alone

Hey Doug,
Your not alone, even with experience I have the bottom end of my Ruger P90 staring me in the face, (no pre-op photo's). Brownells.com have a lot of schematics. There are also the "Gun Digest" books on disassembly/reassembly. They have many detailed photo's and are very detailed in the disassembly portion, but are very poor on any type of detailed reassembly instructions.
Good Luck
Rick

Thanks

Sirs, thank you all, I was able between the diagrams I received from you to put my gun back together. Sure enough, when I went back to the store where I bought it and checked their model it was correct. I sure would hate to have a gun blow up in my face at the range.

Sir:
Welcome to the Forum, Doug. You know, I've quit disassembling guns (unless real bad) to clean - I use "gun scrubber" types and air to clean. Then some light lube.
