Hello!!! Where are the Republicans as usual?

I am as Republican as you can get. I vote in all elections-----local,state and federal. I was asked this year to be a member of the precinct meeting in my state and possibly be nominated as a delegate to the electorial college. Due to my realtive young age and the fact that I am the sole bread-winner, I had to refuse in order to work.

If the Republicans think they will squeak by this year running a warmed over democrats, they will be sadly mistaken. We never win big unless we get of of our rear-ends, send our message to the people and run on the principles that have made us great.

Once again, where are the Republicans to stand up for Glock,Browning and to this date, Beretta, among others? I will tell you where. The same place the leadership is located----nowhere. It is high time to give the party an enema and get rid Hastert (or however it's spelled) in favor of some men and women with backbone, charisma, intestinal fortitude and integrity. At the same time, we need to convey to Trent Lott in no uncertain terms that his number will be up also if he behaves like he did during the impeachment debacle.

I am fully supporting the Republicans in November lest anyone think otherwise. Nevertheless, it is time for some radical changes in the GOP.

Trent Lott HAS to go! He voted in favor of the gun bill last year that was voted down in the senate. He is positioning himself for the White House by trying to be a moderate Republican. He rolls over for Clinton all the time. Clinton must have some good dirt on him in those FBI files he is holding over the senators. Just like Sen. Spector!
