<sobs quietly>
...I'm obsessed with unfluted cylinders!!!
<confession begets uncontrollable wailing>

As part of my recovery my therapist hopes to achieve desensitisation through sensory over-dose.

Help me get better and rejoin society.
Help me by...

Sorry Dude...All mine are fluted....I used to have a Ruger Super Black hawk..but no more.....

I wish I had a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan I could post for you to salivate over, but sadly, I don't have one yet. That one hasn't made it off of the "want list" yet.

OK, for your pleasure:
Two Super Blackhawks, one a Hunter model and one Fully cusotmized by MagNaPort. Also threw in a 1851 Colt replica.

I wish I could post a pic.

I wish I could have bought the gun so I could post a pic.

A week ago, at my local gun show I saw a blued 4-inch S&W Model 25 (in .45 Colt), with unfluted cylinder. It was not new production but was in very good shape. Very good. He wanted $800 IIRC.

I could not buy it because only minutes before I bought a born-in-1980 4-inch Highway Patrolman :) But if I had not just used up my money I would have been working a deal on that .45.

Who wonders how to tell if that unfluted cylinder was actually from S&W.

You can satisfy some of your unfluted lust by getting a new single six convertible and throwing the magnum cylinder in there :).

Only have one and my favorite 44 Mag.
I dont know if its ever shot a mag in all the time I have had it but it sure has shot a lot of specials.
