Hey yall. I just won a bid on a practically new (99% condition) Mossberg
500A Persuader 8-shot for $155 bucks! I can't believe it. They're going for $309 shipping on Budsgunshop, so I think I did pretty damn good, hehe. Here's some pics:

I'm seriously considering a Mossberg Persuader as an addition to my small collection of shotguns.

I think you got a very good deal and you got a very good shotgun as well Good on ya!:)
 
Good to see that it has the dual action bars (judging by that fore grip).

Last 500A 5-shot I bought had a single action bar like a Maverick, permanently attached to the fore grip. Didn't even notice until I got it home, then had to spend $30 more on a conversion to dual bars and that required a new fore grip as well.
 
Brasky: how old was the 500 with the single action bar ??

I have a y2k model 500 and a 2005 maverick 88, both with dual action bars....

just curious why singles are still out there
 
Congrats! Wow! :eek: That's exactly what I'm looking for in that price range. Limited funds and can't find a deal like that. Hope I'm as lucky as you!
 
Well, I picked up my new Mossberg 500 today....and am pleasantly suprised....it is not 99%....it is a BRAND SPANKING NEW SHOTGUN! I am extremely pleased with it....the action is smoother than glass, lockup is tight, and she points like a dream. This is the best deal I have ever happened across in my short amount of time of purchasing firearms.
