Heavy hardcast Garrett and Corbon in 94

Would some of the heavy hunting loads for the revolver feed thru a 94 AE Trapper, and if so, would they make a worthwhile difference in the rifle's performance on game? These loads sound like they might approximate some of the old blackpowder cartridge express loads.

Rusty S:

Our 44 Magnum cartridges are too long to function through lever-action carbines. We designed our bullets with extra long noses so as to fully fill out the chamber throats of revolvers. This allows the generation of extra power without excessive pressure, however, the extra length precludes their use in lever-guns which require a standard length cartridge.

I do not know if Corbon's ammo will function in lever-guns, but I do know that Federal's CastCores will, and they perform very well from the lever-gun.

Thank you very much. Asking about a specific brand of specialized ammo and checking in the next night to find the maker himself responding...

how odd computers should allow reversion to personal service, and to allow a man to make a reputation on his dealings world wide.
