Heavy duty tripod

I was thinking about adhering some lead rod on the legs of my spotting scope tripod to keep the scope from moving. Not so bad a X20 but beyond that and
a little wind or light table and the scope is shaking.
My question: from experience... who makes a real durable and heavy tripod?
I'll buy one if you know what worked for you. Thanks in advance.

Here is what us old photographers did,,,

We tied a milk jug full of sand and hung it by a cord under the tripod head,,,
That steadied even a lightweight tripod down rather nicely.

Try it,,,
It really works.

What a simple fix. Thanks. The real heavy quality tripods (I've been surfing the net) cost more than my scope.
