Heavy barrel Ruger 10/22

Having a haevy bbl on a 10/22, is it really worth the extra money, just for plinking?

I've got a 10/22 customized by Don Fraley Custom in Russell, KY (606)836-2663. It's a different animal after he tricks it out! He threads the receiver for the heavy barrel and beds it in a quality stock(of course the warranty is voided). I think you'll be pleased.
