Heat Shield Question

Hey there im new to the forums but have been creeping around here for awhile. I have a question about a heatshield im looking at for my Maverick 88. I found it on Mossberg.com and it says that it is compatible with the Mossberg 500 but I would like to know if whether or not its going to fit the Maverick. Now I know that almost all the accessories are interchangable between the 2 models but I just wanted to get a second opinion on it before i buy it. Heres a picture of it and thanks in advance.

Yes. Mossberg heat shields fit the Maverick. Basically same barrel...same dimensions. BTW, recommend using the spacer that comes with the set as it helps prevent the shield from moving under recoil.
