H.B. 8 Repeal of Utah State Defense Force Act (Hendrickson, N.)was read before the house today. Start calling and writing!
There's a link around here somewhere that covers this.
 
The Bill was sent to the House Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee, who will review it tomarrow at 10:30 AM. Still have time to make those phones ring.

Yup, nothing obvious...unless, of course, a person has ever read the U.S. CONSTITUTION!
 
Hour and a half left everyone, still got a little more time to get ahold of them. If all else fails, go down there at 10:30 and tell them what you think. :)

HB8 was reportedly tabled in a House committee Tuesday
morning in response to the efforts of many dedicated pro-gun
rights advocates and even the objections of senior officers
of the Utah Air National Guard. Tabling the bill means the
bill is wounded but may also be lifted from the table at any
time.

We still haven't won this one however, the web site shows it will go back up for further review on 18 January 2001, 8:00 AM - Rm 225.
