S. 25 Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2001 (Introduced in the Senate)

A bad gun bill just introduced in the U.S. Senate is S. 25. The bill summary and bill text tell us this piece of legislation would require gun buyers to be registered and all gun sales recorded and permanently kept - throughout the U.S. - with no exceptions. At this time, the bill has been referred to the Senate Judiciary committee. The bill would apply to any handgun; or any semi-automatic firearm that can accept a detachable magazine; and does not include any antique. It would make it illegal for owners of these kinds of guns to not be registered.

Please contact your Senators to voice your strong objections to this, and all future gun control bills. GUN REGISTRATION LEADS TO CONFISCATION. There are no exceptions to this rule in the history of the world.

Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2001 (Introduced in the Senate)

S 25 IS

107th CONGRESS

1st Session

S. 25

To provide for the implementation of a system of licensing for purchasers of certain firearms and for a record of sale system for those firearms, and for other purposes.

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

January 22, 2001

Mrs. FEINSTEIN (for herself, Mr. SCHUMER, and Mrs. BOXER) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

A BILL

To provide for the implementation of a system of licensing for purchasers of certain firearms and for a record of sale system for those firearms, and for other purposes.

The same old gun grabbers. I wonder how come Mrs. Clinton's name is not on this bill (yet?). Then we could have both senators from California and New York all working together. The good news is that this bill looks to be so full of new regulations that is shouldn't get out of committee. But it's going to be a long 4 years.
