Headley Rear Pocket Holster For Guardians

Kentucky Rifle

New member
I'm on the verge of ordering a rear pocket holster for my Guardian from RJ Headley. It looks great in the picture and I've exchanged a few e-mails with RJ himself. He seems like a great guy. I just wanted to know if anyone else has one of these and is satisfied with the fit. The only thing that concerns me is the anti-print panel. Mr. Hedley tells me that it's about 5 inches high. I mostly wear jeans or Chinos, and I wonder If the panel would stick out above the top of my pocket.
So how about it? Anybody have one?

Thanks,
Will

I can`t help you with that particular model but someone I know bought a Headley front pocket holster for his NAA Blackwidow. It`s very nicely made with burnished edges and nice wet molding. FWIW it looked to be well thought out and certainly worth the money. Marcus

Will,

I have a Hedley back pocket holster for my Kel-Tec P-32. It is 5 & 1/4 inches long (it may be a little longer than the Guardian holster as the P-32 is longer).
I just stuck it in 4-5 pair of slacks & it didn't stick out, plenty of room. In my Levis, it didn't stick out either but not by much, about 1/8 inch to spare.
I would guess you should be fine with it, particularly if it is shorter than the P-32 holster which I would think it would be. If it is not, maybe you could ask him to trim off a tad. It is a very well-made holster. I may ask him about one for my Autauga .32.

Guys,
Thanks for the replies. I'll order one in the morning. The Headley stuff is nice. Although I probably don't really need it, I think I'll order the pocket carrier for an extra magazine for $15.00.
I have a P-32 also. I got a pretty nice front pocket holster from M/D Enterprises for $35.00. I usually use the pocket holster for my P-32 rather than the clip. It comes out easier.

Thanks again,
Will

Alamo is right.

I have a Hedley back pocket holster for my P-32 and love it. I swore I'd never buy a leather holster.

Because I'm a Passport kind of guy. But since I carry the P-32 all of the time, $50 is a small price to pay to safely and fashionable carry and protect it.

The panel should not stick out of the vast majority of Dockers, jeans, or pleaded business pants. I only have one pair of pants the panel stuck out of and I just carried it in my front pocket that day.

Maybe I'll get a front pocket holster now that I think about it.

Great guy. stand behind his top notch work. I bought it!

WLM -- sorry, I caught your post late. I have a Hedley back-pocket holster for my Guardian, and I've been very happy with it. It's a good fit in chinos without seeing the top of the holster, but in most of my jeans it's about flush with the top of the pocket -- not enough cover to conceal well. The rear panel really breaks up the outline and makes it look like a wallet to most everyone. And, it only gets better as it breaks in, after which it rolls over the backstrap slightly to block the gun's view from the top of the pocket. FYI, Mr. Hedley will make the panel a little wider if you need to cover the extended mag grip, which I usually carry, but this does make the overall package a little wider. I also have one of his front pocket holsters, which I like, and he's a great guy. Turn-around time is very quick. Best wishes.

Andrew
