Heading to U.S. Training Center

Im headed out to the US Training center for some more training and will be using the FN SCAR 16 for the first time. I also picked up an Elcan optic for it which I will also be using for the first time.

I like this weapon system and have put about 3k rounds through it since I put it together. I was curious though if any of you have taken courses at the USTC using a SCAR.

Any thoughts, opinions or advice regarding this weapon system would be appriciated.

Oh, Ill also be bringing my MK23 socom which I must say shoots like a dream.

Nice! Are you going to Moyock, NC I assume? I went through their Advanced Sniper course back in '09, and I'm pretty sutre that is the coolest place on earth. Nothing but explosions, full auto gunfire, and even a few helicopters strafing all day.
 
Yep, I'm leaving on Oct 10th to take the Carbine op, High risk security operator, Executive protection and Advanced exec protection courses. I'm wanting to build a good cqb weapon for this as well, any advice? Im thinking POF or just converting my SCAR to an SBR and throwing Aimpoint micro on it.
