Heading to the range in the morning

I'm looking for some different things to shoot at tomorrow when I take my daughter to the range. I've heard ping pong balls are fun to shoot at. Just looking for some ideas. We will be shooting semi-auto 22 pistols and semi auto rifles.
 
I shoot 2 liter sodas (Cheapest that Walmart sells) at 50 yds with my 9mm. Nice spewing display when you hit them. Use smaller bottles at 25 yds.
 
I might use the 2 liters on private land, but that might get frowned upon at the public range. The balloons is a good idea.
 
Our club has a plinking range where you can shoot any target you want that is not explosive or glass as long as you clean it up when you are done.
I have seen people shoot balloons, plastic drink jugs, paper targets, pictures of x wives and x girlfriends, zombie targets, golf balls, bowling pins, the metal swing type targets, you name it.
For your daughter shooting the metal swing targets would be nice since she can see she hit it immediately, might be very rewarding for a beginner shooter. Just about anything she can see she hit it right away. Those multi sided orange balls are a good choice also and they are practically indestructible.
 
Get a case of cheap sodas (12 oz drinks ) dr topper or similar and hardly shoot at all. Let your daughter have a blast and encourage her all you can. If you feel up to it, let her bring her friend along. They have a lot of fun competing against one another or just having fun plus its a way to get another child envolved into the sport. Don't forget ear plugs and glasses and bring plenty of food and drinks. Let it be an awesome day. These day with them come very few times in life and then they're memories. Have fun.
