heading out coyote hunting this weekend

Well since I've been on this furlough, I've had to come up with things to do with my free time. N the best thing I could come up with is feeding a few coyotes a 150gr 30-06 meal. Ill be down in York pa 5B area. Cant wait for Friday!!!

Friends and I never hunted them until the pelts were worth something - which meant winter time - rabbit distress calls worked well. One friend paid for several guns with the pelts from one season

What ever you have available works for me Sir. Be it 22 Hornet up to 460 Weatherby. Hope you dispatch more than just a couple too. I like!! messy pictures concerning predator control hunts. Come back and post a few pictures tack on a comment or two. I'd be very pleased abowlieb knowing {and seeing if possible} how your hunt turned out.

150gr 30-06

what kind of bullet? sounds like a job for a ballistic tip. .30-06 for coyotes is overkill, but it will work. You oughta try some 110 grain loads if your rifle will shoot them well.
