Yeah, only eight years, real nice. He gets time because he didn't announce his location to potentially armed intruders. Real nice. Now we have to tell burglars, "Here I am, please run away"
With a growing number of black market firearms(which gun bands aren't stopping), a Brit is increasingly likely to get shot in a burglary, yet it is supposedly wrong that he didn't make his presence known to these kids.
Maybe he shouldn't have shot them, but 8 years is rediculous, they knew they were breaking into someone's property and potentially scaring the hell out of that person, they should have expected to get shot, but thanks to the government, they don't have to worry about that as much anymore. Government helping criminals, my bleeding heart just got all warm inside.
