Hastings Barrels ?

Ever heard of this outfit? Know anything about their barrels?

I was simply curious if anyone still made a 3" barrel for the Remington 1100, and a search online turned up their website.

Here, they claim to make a 1100 Magnum Barrel. Just curious if anyone had ever tried one.

No personal experience but they have a good rep. I do have some of their choke tubes, well made and accurate as to dimensions.

I tjhink they were one of the first companies to make a rifled shotgun barrel. I have one for my 870. Very accurate, but finicky only likes one slug load. the rest look like, well a shotgun pattern. I might be wrong but it seems that when a shot shell is fired through the rifled barrel the pattern is MUCH wider than when fired through a cylinder choke

Rott, others report the same thing. Many bbls only work best with one slug, which is why I get so emphatic on benchtesting. Shot patterns from rifled bbls are horrible, another tradeoff many of us aren't willing to make.
