Has the ammo shortage spilled over to...

...other handgun equipment? I just bought a SW 620 4"...which is holster compatible with a lot of other handguns. I want a Bianchi holster with a thumb snap but am having a devil of a time finding a supplier that has some in stock. No need to mention names, but the wait at two very popular suppliers I rely upon is 8 to 12 weeks. I've never had that type of problem before.
Any similar experiences out there?

I am seeing a bit of a wave effect.

1st lots of new shooters buy lots of new firearms------hence no guns to be found.

2nd said new shooters figure they better get some ammo-----hence a bit after the gun buying frenzy the ammo shortage starts

3rd said new shooters need to get their parts, holsters, cleaning gear etc.-----hence we are starting to see the beginnings of the parts shortage

The good news is the gun shortage seems to be almost at an end and the ammo seems to be slowly trickling back up.

You can partly thank me. I was spurred partly by the Democrat administration, but mostly by getting a job and having money, to become a first-time gun owner about a month ago. Nothing big, a G23, 150 rounds of FMJ, and about 95 JHPs. A couple little bottles of gun oil, a bottle of solvent, 2 packs of patches, a Don Hume conceal holster and a Uncle Mikes Ambidextrous hip holster.

My purchases haven't made that much of a run on the market. And the only reason I got so many JHPs is because I wanted some Rangers but all I could find was the 50rd boxes. Then I got HydraShocks and GoldSabres.
