Has anyone shot the new Ruger .45 Birdshead?

I like the way they look, and the one that I handled felt good in my hand.

How is muzzle flip?
I'm asking because the grip is on the small side.

If not one of these what .45 SA would you recomend?

He he, that gun is soooo fun to shoot I can't begin to describe it...
Mine has been at Gary Reeder for the last three months, so I can't really take any pics of it
Shooting loads that are a little hotter than what you would normally buy, the muzzle rise is substantial.
But because the gun is heavy, and the recoil impulse is so slow, it just lifts up in your hand.
It is so fun to shoot one-handed. :D :D
I had to get my sights adjusted (You had better plan on that, from what I've heard.).
My favorite revolver, bar none.
I personally haven't shot the "hotter than .44 mag" loads in it yet, the handloads I'm shooting are so much fun, and so accurate, I am all done tinkering.
I suspect that hot loads are not a problem, but I personally am not qualified to say that, because I haven't shot 'em.
Maybe when I get the gun back...

The birds head gripped 45 is a sweet shooting revolver. I tried some heavy loads just to check controlability, and it was no problem. I can't say enough good about the grip.
