Has anyone ever done gunsmithing on a Tokarev??

Hey guys i recently purchased me a Yugoslavian tokarev and i was wondering if anyone has ever had theirs worked on? like having the trigger lightened and smoothed by a gunsmith or any other modifications. I love my Tokarev it shoots great and it reminds alot like 1911's which i love. Thats what got me thinking about fixing up my tokarev, maybe a couple cheap mods to make the gun more user friendly.

The Tokarev trigger can be worked on like any other pistol. Any good gunsmith should be able to do the work or you can obtain any of a zillion books on working over the 1911 and the systems are very close, except that the Tokarev has its lockwork in a removable "package" which has to be opened up.
