Wow, you didn't even bother to take out the > produced from the email being forwarded, did any proof reading, or checked to see if the information was even valid before posting. FYI, it isn't.
 
I have heard of this before. It is bogus. One of those silly emails that circulate and circulate. Put it out, you think, then it comes back repeatedly.

But it is bogus!
 
Some well meaning (but misguided) pediatricians are indeed asking about guns in the home's of children, but...

It certainly is not a law that I know of, nor does my Wife believe so (she's in the health profession)...
 
Not completely bogus, I have definitely been asked by a doctor (pediatrician) if there were guns in the home.
 
Pediatricians ask this question from time to time. My wife knows I will go off on them so she takes the kids to the dr. and just tells them no to everything.

It's a boundary violation by the doctor and none of their business.
 
Wow If I had known the answer I would'nt have posted it as a question. thanks for the info from those that know, and the insult, geesh!
I guess every question on here is stupid to one person or the other
