Harris Bipod for AR15

What is the average height needed for a bipod when benchrest shooting with an AR15? Many people say that the 6"-9" bipod is perfect for benchrest, but if I want a bipod for both benchrest and for prone, would a 9"-13" be too high for bench? That looks like 9" would be the only possible average height between the two sizes.
I will be doing much more bench shooting than prone shooting.
 
The 9-13 is not too high for BR shooting. You will need a high rest under the stock though. I use it, and I think that the 6-9 would be better for that. It would be too low for much prone shooting, except on a golf course or another place where the grass is very low.
