Happy visit to book store last night!

Such a cool thing happened at Borders last night; I mean, in addition to getting to say "hello" to another TFL'er (Hi, buzz_knox!).

Did my usual circuit of the shop, grabbed a few beads and trinkets, and, on a hunch driven by an earlier Mike Irwin post, wandered over to the "sports" section, where they keep the books on shooting.

There it was! Supica and Nahas' The Standard Catalog... Second Edition! Everything from '94 to the present that was missing in the last one, a new color section, expanded details on obscure variants of older models.

Buy your copy today! :)

Hi yourself, Tam! I was surprised to see you there, until I remembered that the range was closed at that time. ;)

By the way, what were you packing? I had the HK, which explains that twitchy feeling you probably had, like there was something nearby you desperately needed but didn't know what it was. ;)

I didn't tell you?

I have a use for all those spare P7M8 mags again... ;)

But, coincidentally (what with this being the wheelgun forum and all) I was carrying a *&* 296.

...oh, and a Beretta Tomcat, too. :D

Refurb with the mill mark removed and the slide refinished.

$850 with box, gadgets, papers, warranty card, spare mag, etc.
