Happy Thanksgiving! Who shot their own turkey?

I've always been curious about eating wild turkey, which made me curious...How many of you went and got a turkey last month(I could be wrong, but from what I've seen most places have a season in Oct) that you will be eating tomorrow?

Haven't even seen a turkey around here, but I did buy a Wild Turkey......


And a bottle of Jack Daniels to go with it for Thanksgiving.

I did. Man, that was exciting - the sound of the shotgun, the smell of gunpowder, all those people in the frozen foods section diving for cover...

Unfortunately, we ate the wild turkey fresh out of the feathers so had to buy one for T-day. Had my eye on some a few days ago but season had ended so they got a pass.
