Got a call from a friend last night. He just moved into a house waaay out in the sticks. He shot my AK some time back and loved it. Now the really good stuff. I’ve been saving plastic bottles for a while for targets. He calls and tells me he found an old TV in the basement and wants to introduce it to the AK. :D Gonna fill the bottles with Jell-O or whatever else I can think of.

Give me some ideas folks, Sunday is going to be a blast. (Pun intended)

1) Plug the TV in and turn it on (Maybe tune it in to some liberal news program), then blast it! VERY dramatic! (Just kidding, it could do bad things to other electronics, electrical system, etc.)

2) Go get some cheap soda pop and leave the unopened cans (or plastic bottles) in the sun for a little while to warm up, then blast 'em!

3) Try shooting tomatoes, oranges, cantalopes, watermelons, etc.

4) and those cans that say "Do not puncture or incinerate." heh, heh! ;)

Be careful, and have fun! :)

Propane tanks are ok, if you have a source of ignition close by and a clear area for them to burn in. Don't shoot toward the bottom as they tend to launch.

Been there, done that, got the videos.

I am dying to shoot at my old crappy TV, but I still have to use it, I need a new one, but thats a different story. Fruit, electronics, toilets, light fixtures. Fun fun fun.

Fill a jar or milk jug with scrambled eggs and ketchup! Eeewwwwwwwwww

NRA? Good. Now join the GOA!

The NRA is our shield, the GOA will be our sword.

The old one gallon metal gas cans, filled of course with premium high octane gasoline. Be sure to use a full metal jacketed bullet or jacketed hollow point. The faster the projectile, the more impressive the explosion. Use a HP rifle cartridge...a .223 or .308 will work just dandy.

PS...set the cans up so that nothing in the area (like dead grass or brush) will ignite upon the explosion.

I've shot at propane tanks too, when I was younger (and dumber). We set them on top of fence posts on our parent's farm and shot at them with an Enfield. None ignited, but they made big, white clouds. They can fly quite a distance. We had one rocket in our direction; the thing flew almost 100 yds and sailed past our heads. This was among some of the less dumb things we did; it's amazing we all survived childhood.
