Got my Glock 29. :D
I was wondering who makes a good ankle holster for this beasty?
I have other holsters for it, but I am lacking an ankle holster for it.
Thanks in advance.

I am not sure that there is a good ankle holster for a G29. I surely wouldn't want to carry mine in one.

Outstanding...

...taste in firearms you have, sir. Simply outstanding.

(Can't help you on the ankle rig, although I am aware of some folks carrying G29/30's in such a fashion, I've never been a witness to such feats of strength in real life. ;) )

Lou Alessi makes an ankle holster for the Glock 29, in my experience it's once of the best around.
I've carried my Glock 19, or 23, in one of his ankle holsters; you will get used to the weight.

Check out rfholsters.com.

Regards, and good shooting. Excellent choice.

Congrtulations and welcome. You have just purchased the single most popular 'dead' caliber. What are you planing to use for defence ammo?

Enjoy

Hmmm where to start

I used to carry a Glock 19 as the back-up to the Glock 17, this was in the pre-G26 days, so I am used to a heavy weapon on my ankle, while wearing 20lbs of armor and gunbelt too. :(
I will took a look at Alessis stuff and it looks very nice.

I am gonna order some 180gr Gold Dot from Proload, they advertise them at 1200fps, I currently have 155gr Tritons at 1400fps in my Glock 20.

A fine purchase! I really dig mine. I also run the 180gr. ProLoad GDHP's and have been very happy with them.

The 29 is the king uber-biscuit in the bang-per-pound category, IMHO. Very high on the potential energy scale :)

I have seen Galco ankle holsters for the G29/30 as well as the G19/23/32! I have a hard enough time carrying my G33 on my ankle. I'd hate to even think about a compact GLOCK there.

Anyway, I have a Galco for my G33 and it is very comfortable and conceals well. Its only 2 roles are deep concealment (tucked-in shirt, etc.) and BUG. Other than that, I carry my G19 IWB.

Great gun! You'll love it! I have a Glock 30, which is basically the same gun except it shoots .45 ACP. I am really pleased with everything about it.
