Happy Father's Day!!

OK, so I know it's the Labour Day weekend there ... but Sunday's Father's Day here!!!!

My girls are being very secretive, but I know this is the schedule:

7.00 a.m. Breakfast with some friends who have driven 250 miles to be here
9.00 a.m. At the rifle club, shooting, Three-Positional Match ;)
3.30 p.m. Mum and Dad here for "afternoon tea"
Much later: Di and I will celebrate Father's Day our own way ;)

Congratulations to all fathers -- especially those with daughters ;)

Us kids love ya...wish I still had a Dad. I miss him terribly.

Listen, I'm really good at Daddy hugs. I'm so sorry you don't have your Dad -- but -- anytime you need a fatherly hug, just step outside, look south, close your eyes and w-i-s-h -- and I'll know. And that hug's yours (and what my girls like, too -- brushing the hair off their brow gently with my fingers and telling them "It's OK, Dad's here").

I'm serious!
