HandGun Safes

small enough for just one handgun. not too expensive. gunvault is cool but is too expensive. Stack-On seems pretty cool. eletronic with key overide.

go with a stack on.... hide it well in your home.... and bolt that sucker to the floor..... really well.

If Gunvault is too expensive for you, then your options are going to be limited. Stack-On, as BH has mentioned, is probably one of the more popular ones for your price range.

I picked up a 6x9 one at harbor freight on clearance yesterday for 19.99, its digital with a key override, seems very sturdy, although small, i have my hi point c9 holstered in there, my p22 holstered in there, my cobra ca380 in there, a small box of .22 and a bag of 9mm, a knife, my wallet, spare money, and sometimes my car keys.

Yeah I saw that. Reminds me of what you see in hotel rooms. Not bad at all but I will probably go with the Stack-On Drawer safe. 8 1/2 X 11 X 4.5 or something like that.

Instead of a Gunvault, I bought a Winchester, it looks about the same, has electronic opening with a key to open it if the battery dies. Mine cost me about $100 at a safe store in Atlanta.
