Handgun Makers Stand Tall ( Glock & Taurus).....

Today I recieved an email from Taurus International. They said that they are standing firm with other companies like Glock
against signing the agreement that Smith & Wesson signed. I think the message that I recieved is also posted at the Taurus website. I already mailed them a BIG THANKS for standing tall with us. I think it would be a good idea for all TFL handgunners to do the same! Thank Taurus & Glock for their stands.... and show your support!

I got an email from Taurus also. It said that they were misquoted in the WSJ, and sent out a press release to straighten it out. They too are against the agreement, and feel we are "checked" enough as it is. I'm glad they care about us non military, non LEO types enough to send out that info.

Don't forget Browning. I am proud of glock, taurus makes junky guns, but i am proud of them too, especially after S&W sold out :( total bummer, now we don't have Smith&Wesson, Colt, or HK handguns, assuming colt stops HK civilian sales, but you know they will screw everything up anyway.

I heard the colt/hk deal has went through, can anybody else confirm it?

I own three Taurus revolvers. Other then some teething problems when I first bought them, they are good quality gun, especially for the price. I carry an 85UL as a CCW and feel quite safe with it.

I just tallked to my gun dealer. His H&K representative said any such sale is a ways off. He didn't know where Colt would come up with the funds anyway, since they're having trouble paying their bills.

MY guess is they will all fold if Gore wins... Let us dedicate ourselves to win the good fight...Let us also hope that the Republicans don't fold the next time these predictable massacres take place....

There never has been a better time to buy good quality wepons gentlemen, I suggest you all govern yourselves accordingly...
