I'm looking for informations about exporting a pistol of the U.S. to Switzerland. Does someone have experience with this? All the paperwork, what does it need to get all premissions and so on...
I wanna buy a Beretta 92 G Elite. This one is only made and sold in the U.S.

Nautilus,
You will have to get permission from the Department of Trade Controls(DTC). Normally exporting guns requires an export license. But if you are going to do it only once then they have an exemption(no license is required) but you will still have to get permission. Their website:www.pmdtc.org
It would be easier if you were living in the U.S.A, then all you have to do is buy the pistol, get permission from DTC and you can fly it back with you. If you live in Switzerland then you probably have to ask one of your gunstores to import it for you.
Also check with the Swiss Customs and their Firearm laws.
Best of luck.
