Hammer Shroud for SP 101

A removable hammer shroud used to be a popular option for the Colt Detective Special series of revolvers (IE. S&W Bodyguard like set up). Seems like there also used to be grips available with a built in hammer shroud for many small frame revolvers.

Anyone know of such "bolt on" or grip type hammer shrouds for the SP 101?

Ive seen what you are talking about...but have NO IDEA where to find them. Especially for the little SP....
2 ideas....as a machine shop/fabricator salesman.

Have a shop machine you a stainless steel part per your print/dwg/instructions...and have a smith install it and alter your gun.
Have a "very good" sheetmetal shop bend and shape you one...same thing outa stainless steel.

Shoot well

The SP's hammer has plenty of meat to allow for a complete de-horning, or a tasteful bob-job of the hammer spur. That's your easiest fix.;)

Practice putting your thumb on the hammer as you are drawing from concealment. Remove thumb to grip as your gun clears clothing.

This is my automatic hammer shroud for my 36 chiefs special and my SP101. Practice it a few times and it will become natural, and automatic.
