Halloween isn't the same

I just returned from dropping my little girl off at school. Her little boyfriend dressed up as a Ninja, it looked real cool! A few other boys came as GI Joe, Power Rangers, etc. The policy at school is no weapons of any sort. The poor little boy was crying so hard because he had to leave his sword with his Mom. But it's ok for a little magical wand that could possibly shoot out bullets  I don't get it, when I was young (many moons ago) there was never a policy as stupid as this. It's Halloween for Gods sake, let the kids have some fun. I bet in another ten years costumes of any sort won't be allowed. Sure glad they 'did it for the children'.

Out of all the BS that is going on the most terrible crime of all bar none is the current treatment of the children by these scumbag POS idiots. They are mentally abused by evil trash hiding behind the banner of do goodness. It is a disgrace the confusion these a$$holes are afflicting these kids with. Truely if our generation of idiot amerikans will ever be remembered for anything it will be the wholesale slaughter of the minds of our children. I wish every misery on those that impose their tyranny on these unfortunates.

Halloween is being dismantled by both the left and the right. The liberals don't want to see kids dressed up as "violent" characters and the conservatives don't want kids promoting "devil worship" by dressing as witches and ghosts.

Politicaly correctness comes in 2 flavors.

A number of schools have banned costumes all together and while they have a party, they can't have the Halloween trappings.

Sorry, Halloween isn't Halloween without costumes, ghosts, witches and pumpkins.

Ain't just Halloween. A friend of mine's child got a GI Joe for Christmas. They were flying home, and the airline forced them to surrender the toy M-16 because the attached "bayonet" could be used as a weapon.

EXSQUEEEZE ME!!!!!! I certainly hope they are confiscating pens and pencils at the gate. They would do a hell of a lot more damage than the toy off a GI Joe!.

Ah, Hallowe'en. My favorite holiday of the year.

I've got the 7-foot devil, with glowing red eyes, and the Hello, My Name Is Janet Reno paper covention nametag on the front porch to greet trick-or-treaters. Not to mention the chalk outline/ketchup/HCI brochures on the driveway, and the little pie pumpkin jack o'lanterns mounted on stakes in the front yard like shrunken heads. (Any resemblance to Al Gore, Bill Clinton, et al is purely coincidental.)

Maybe it's because I don't have kids, but I haven't noticed much change in Hallowe'en lately. :D :D :D
