Had to carry a lot of cash today and a COLT

Helping my elderly uncle finish a post-hurricane repair project and had to pay some of it in cash at the job site. Crew looked to be on parole.

Thank you, Mr. Colt, for the security. No safe queen, and no beauty pageant winner, but I bet my life on it.

Thanks

Craig Spegel grips were my first choice, but he said he was months out on any DS grips. Jim Badger had'em in stock.

Gosh, I am glad my life is more than a bit safer than what you're going through. You got some madman trying to break into your home to harm your daughter who is unable to defend herself, and now you're having to carry large sums of cash to job sites with guys out on parole, etc. My life seems boring by comparison, but perhaps quite a bit less hectic...

Carrying alot of cash and a handgun

That reminds me of the time my dad gave me $5,000.00 in $1, $5, and $10 bills to deposit in his bank account.
I took my Ruger Super Blackhawk and laid it up on the ounter with a very large bag of money. All the tellers were shook up until they saw what it was.

Nothing looks nicer than a blued gun with some wear.

Yeah, that whole cash bag and gun at the bank incident probably wasn't the smartest thing you've ever done.

A little "Rip Snorter"

Love the grain in the handles ;)

She's a little beauty..... certainly wins the pagent if I were a judge :D
