Blued,Adjustable front and rear sights,Serial #M 5XXX,Overall condition 95 percent.Question-What is the fair market value and where can I trace the serial
numbers for year of manufacter?Appears to be all steel made(Not crappy metal
used today)Has some weight to it for a double deuce,Top break slicker than chit.All I can find on the net is Single action Sportsman,Like I said this is a DA.
I'm more interested in the year and the value.

I'm sorry that I don't have any numbers for you, but I can tell you that it's a great little .22. I have one that's a legacy from my father. It's nicely accurate and, despite what I've heard about some other H&R examples, has a really good trigger, both DA and SA. I'm keepin' mine.

They were made between 1950 - 1985. One in 95% should go for between $150 - $ 175.

If the grip is 1-piece, it's a pre 1950 model

2-piece grips are post 1950.
