Just saw one in a local resale shop. Is this a decent firearm? Anyone have an idea of a fair price? It looked a bit dated.

If this is any help, it would have been manufactured after 1984, the date of introduction of the caliber.
A wild guess on the value of the gun would be in the $200 - $250 range store retail, depending, of course, on condition, greed and other expectations.

H&R 32 mg

I bought a couple H&R 32 msg when they were clearing them out in early 80s.
Model I bought had swing out cylinder & adjustable sights. Gun was second
rate at best. Triggers, terrible, after working trigger on one, it made no difference in accuracy. They were a joke. Wouldn't buy one for shooter. I think
I paid $49.95@ for them. No way I would put out $200+ for one, to many other
choices at that money.

Evidently my great nephew is quite a skilled handgun shooter because he shoots a H&R .32 Magnum that I keep at the cabin with ease hitting dinner plate sized targets from 50 feet. I do the same and have no problem with any rough trigger pull what so ever. As stated $200-$250 is about the right price. I reload .32 H&R Magnum and I keep my loads on the hot side`with no problems.

I hoard 32's so i would buy it.
I have an H&R in 32L. ehhh its a gun that goes bang when you pull the trigger.

Play around with bullet types and sizes to accommodate what it likes and you can get them to shoot pretty good.

I have one and my FiL has one. They both go bang every time and have decent triggers. Mine shoots 32acp flawlessly.

They were both in great shape and cost about $150 apiece - keep in mind I am cheap and haunted Gunbroker for bargains.

Here is mine:
