Got this old H&R 5 shot nickel plated. Marked on top is YOUNG AMERICAN BULL DOG ser# 1754 I think it is 38 cal. Any of you old pro's got info on this shooter????
 
should be a solid frame revolver. these were made from turn off 1900s to around the 30s they were medium grade for the time and inexspensive(for a gun) think they sold in the 6 to 10 dollar range. the .32 cal is found more than .38 if it is .38 cal it is .38s&w not special. be carefull with modern ammo as a lot of the early made guns were for black powder loads
