Santos,
Serial number prefix 'Z' = 1963.
The H&R Model 733 is the Nickel plated version of the Model 732, 6 shot .32 S&W Long, swing-out cylinder, 2.5" barrel with small rounded butt or 4" barrel with windage adjustable rear sight and large square butt.
Made in two model series: 1st 1957 to 1972; 2nd (with transfer bare safety/ignition system) 1973 - 1986. The short barrel version seems to have been much more popular as many more of them are seen in the market today.
Either models have the following current RETAIL values:
100%/NIB - $180 - $195; 95% - $140 - $150; 80% - $110
Add $10 to $15 for 4" barrel.

Santos,
You're welcome - glad to help out - thanks for thanking.
Good memories are worth more than any amount of money!

Jim and Santos... is the .32SW long the same cartridge as " 32 Colt New Police"?

If it is.. I have an old box of Remington 32 Colt New Police, 100 gr lead that is about half full [25 rounds] in the old green and red Remington box. Unfortunately the ends are missing off of the box.

Have no use for these and would be wiling to donate as an display addition to you dad's revolver if you wanted them.

PM would be fine.

The .32 Colt "NEW POLICE" cartridge is dimentionally and ballistically equivalent to the .32 S&W Long cartridge, with the exception of having a flat point rather than rounded. Colt, as the story goes, simply didn't want to put S&W on the barrels of their hand guns.
