H&R 922

Yep. I remember the 922. If you give me the serial number I'll tell you when it was made, the model and variation #s.

Those are great little revolvers. I had a 4" years ago, shot great. I wast real big on the base pin solid frame design and fixed sights so I traded it ar a coupke years. My best friend ended up with is grandfathers after his father left us, and its turned into our go fishing gun.. His is a 7" and has punched hundredes of beer cans, a few turtles and a couple snakes.

His son lost the base pin last year, any idea where another one could be found?

It was given to me by my grandpa when I was 17 almost 18. He figured that it was time I had my own pistol. Man is it a tack driver. When I go shooting I have to take it with me, and my wife is usually the first to shoot it lol. The serial number is: AL 63433, made by h&r model 922

mobart Have you tried numrich, brownells, maybe midway usa? these sites usually have what I am looking for. I would recommend Northridgeinc.com if they had none milsurp items.

They are good guns, it is too bad H&R discontinued making them. It taught me, my little sister and then my wife how to shoot a wheel gun. It will probably teach my future kids.

Just got a 923

Just traded for a 923 with 4" barrel. Great condition and seems like a very sturdy little 22.

Do you know the year of mfg.? The serial no. is R314xx.

Thanks, Tom
