H&R .38 S&W CTGE Question

My neighbor recently had to place a relative in an assisted living facility. When cleaning out the home, she found an old gun and brought to me because my father was a cop and she thought I would be better to keep it safe, as she is afraid of guns....

I don't know much about older weapons, as I mostly own new stuff...

Anyway, it is a hammerless 5 shot revolver. It has white pearl grips. It is in fairly rough shape and needs a good cleaning.

The top of the barrel is marked with the following:
"Harrington & Richardson Arms Company Worchester Mass USA"
"PAT - May 14 & Aug 6, '89 April 7, 98"
The left side is marked ".38 CA. S&W CTGE"
The bottom of the handle has a Serial Number of 67634
The inside of the Barrel has 634 marked twice (on the outer edge and on the inner barrel casing)

Could you please tell me about when this was produced and what the value would be. The neighbor is trying to sell what she can to pay for the care of her relative.

She also found a Brevettata Small Pocket .22 Starter Pistol by Mondail, it has 4 caps but is missing the sled..... Any info on value and if it is worth finding a sled for it?

Thank you for any light you can shed on this item for me.

if the gun is in "fairly rough shape" it might be worth as little as $75.00... if it's blued ( they made less blued guns than nickel ) it might be worth more, if it cleans up ok... if it has good mother of pearl grips ( not plastic ) that could add $50.00 to $100.00, depending on the grips condition... barrel length will also make a difference in final value... on a hammerless, the shorter barrels will be worth more than the standard 3-3.5"... also bore condition ( how pitted is it ) I collect alot of this type of gun... BTW... the 38 S&W cartridge predates the 38 Special, & is not the same

pictures would help alot in valueing a gun of this age... your idea of "fairly rough shape" might be different than mine
