What is the difference between the Tactical USP 45 and the Mk 23 SOCOM 45?

I went to the H&K site but still not sure.Hope some light can be shed.

I'm looking for a used HK pistol but I have a question about grip size. The regular USP45 is too big for my hand. I need to know is the grip smaller on the compact model or is it just a shorter barrel. How about the compact 40sw. What is a good price for a usp40 compact. Thanks

The USP compacts are indeed smaller through the grip than the full size USPs. Much better suited to the smaller hand.
