H&K USP .45 and H&K USP .45 Tactical Magazines

Are the magazines for the H&K USP .45 and the H&K USP .45 Tactical identical? If not, is there any reason why an H&K USP .45 magazine cannot be used in as Tactical? Finally, any ideas re source for USP .45 high caps?

The mags are the same, except that the ones that come with a Tactical have an extended floorplate. That and about a $5 are the only differences. I bought my last two USP 45 mags at a gunshow for $33 each. I prefer them without the extended floorplate for my USP Tactical.
